The doorway to the Divine is in the body, not the mind. The more we can relax into our own skin, the closer we are to God or the more available we are to let God live through us; the more we become Light incarnate. Touch, purely given and received,for me is a meditation in embracing our bodies, our humanity, our humble connection with all of Life.

In my work as a masseuse, when I facilitate the awakening of sexual energy within my clients, often their bodies will initially tighten, stopping the flow. The source of their resistance, however, is not from the physical, but from the mental realm. The egoic mind is afraid of being taken over by such powerful pleasure, of being out of control. This is how we keep our sexual/ life force energy at a minimum- starving ourselves of ecstatic experience and cutting it off when it threatens to open our hearts and blow our minds. When this energy arises within my clients we breathe together, expanding into the physical contractions, letting go, allowing the sexual fire to burn through the body. Often after a session clients will lie on the table shaking. They are feeling their own inner lover for the first time. They are birthing a new expanded receptivity for joy.
