I see creativity as the anecdote for war in that the destructive and creative forces of life are each other’s opposite, reflection, soul mates if you will. The law of Nature is balance. When one polarity is lacking the other must compensate. If you want peace on earth CREATE.

Lisa co-created and currently participates in an all female performance art group called Woman Wide Open, whose mission is to awaken the feminine fire through ceremonial theater, specifically around women’s sacred shadow selves.

The group of seven meets bi-monthly and performs every quarter year. The pieces are created based on women expressing and witnessing what is alive in each other at the moment through improvisational sound and movement.

Lisa is co-creating a similar spoken word/performance troupe of young women (ages 13-18) based on the weekly sharing and witnessing of each other’s journal entries and poetry.
